Four People Jailed after Disturbance at Winchester City Park

A Saturday disturbance at the Winchester City Park ended with four people going to jail.

Officers were dispatched to the park and learned that a man had threatened to get a gun from his vehicle after an umpire made a call during a game.

Officials reported that the man never brandished a gun but was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

At the scene, officers also arrested two women for assault after allegedly fighting while authorities were present.

Winchester police said another man was taken into custody due to having an unrelated criminal warrant out of Maury County.
