Fundraiser for former Coffee County Student/Athlete

On July 6, 2021, former Coffee County football and track star Kelvin Verge sustained a C6/7 spinal cord injury in an automobile accident. This happened 5 weeks after his high school graduation.

The family continues to try to make Kelvin’s life as comfortable as possible. They are currently in the process of raising funds for an FES bike to help stimulate his muscles. He is currently paralyzed mid-torso down with limited finger movement. This bike will stimulate his leg muscles as he rides along with his core.

The total for the bike is $12,950, and insurance does not cover any of the cost of this bike. The family is a few thousand dollars short of the amount needed.

If you can help Kelvin Verge get his FES bike, please make contributions to the GoFundMe account Fundraiser by Katrina Verge : Help Kelvin get an FES bike (gofundme.com)
