On Tuesday night the Tennessee Volunteers basketball team unfortunately fell to the Gators of Florida in a South Eastern Conference match up, 75-49.
The Florida Gators outscored the Volunteers in the first half of play leading Tennessee 38-27. The Volunteers battled hard for the win but were stumped by the gators 37-22 in the second half. Yves Pons scored 5 points on the night. Keon Johnson notched 8 points along with John Fulkerson posting 15 points to finish out the game for the Volunteers.
The Volunteers will take on the Tigers of Missouri in Knoxville for another South Eastern Conference match up on Saturday with tip-off set for 6:30 pm.
