Gene Taylor & Steve Graves Christmas Foundation continues its Christmas Tradition

Have you always wanted to be part of Santa’s workshop? Here is your chance to help families out this Christmas. It’s the annual Gene Taylor & Steve Graves Christmas Foundation.

Several years ago, then Sheriff Steve Graves and the now late Gene Taylor along with others began a toy and food drive through the sheriff’s department. The annual tradition continues even after Graves left office and the unfortunate death of Taylor.

Sign-up and drop-off times and dates:

Saturday Dec. 4th 1pm till 4pm

Friday Dec. 10th 1pm till 4pm

Saturday Dec. 11th 1pm till 4pm

YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE PROOF OF RESIDENCE (COFFEE CO.), PHOTO ID (DRIVERS LICENSE), AND BIRTH CERTIFICATE OF THE CHILD/CHILDREN OR CUSTODIAL PAPERS.

Bring a NEW, UNWRAPPED toy(s) and/or canned goods to the Coffee County Rescue Squad (2270 Murfreesboro Highway Manchester) for Drop-off on these dates.

If you are in need of help this Christmas for Toys and/or Food you will need to come the scheduled dates to sign up. WE WILL NOT BE TAKING PHONE CALLS!!! You MUST SHOW UP in person with the requested documents.

Toys/Food will be given out accordingly to the amount of donations they get this year.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
