Groundbreaking begins Expansion of College St. Elementary in Manchester

Back in August the Manchester Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to commit $2.5 million to expand College Street Elementary School. The total cost of the project with school system and the city money is $4.1 million

Groundbreaking took place on Thursday for the expansion that will add six classrooms and renovate the cafeteria at the school.

Director of Schools Dr. Joey Vaughn said that the bids came in just under what the two boards approved to spend.
