The 38th edition of the Herald-Chronicle Softball tournament will be hosted over the weekend by the Winchester City Park, starting Friday. Money raised from the benefit goes to support FCHS girls basketball and Huntland High’s cross country team. Parks and Recreation Director Darell Jolley says plenty of consideration has been given to following social distancing guidelines, including removing bleachers and providing hand sanitizers, but the show will go on! 65 teams have already signed up for the tournament so far.
