High School Football Playoff Coverage Kicks off Friday on 93.9 The Duck and The Rooster 101.5

Bowman On Target Marketing, operator of 93.9 The Duck (WDUC-FM, Lynchburg) and The Rooster 101.5 (WFTZ-FM, Manchester, TN) is excited to kickoff their coverage of the TSSAA State Football Playoffs with a pair of games on Friday Night.

“This is what every coach and player works for and every fan hopes for a playoff berth and a chance to compete for a state title,” Said Lucky Knott General Manager for Bowman On Target Marketing. “You can feel the excitement in Manchester as the Red Raiders return to the postseason for the first time since 2016 and Tullahoma is equally excited about having a legitimate state championship contender. We as a company are excited to document those journeys for the community.”

93.9 The Duck will continue as the exclusive radio home for Tullahoma football throughout the postseason beginning on Friday when the Wildcats host Chester County in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Will Rabb, who called Moore County Football in the regular season on WHMT and will call Tullahoma basketball on the Bowman Basketball Showcase will partner with Matthew Jackson to describe the action. “I’ve kept up with the Wildcats throughout the season and Coach Olive has a very talented squad,” said Rabb. “I’m excited to get the assignment to call their games in the postseason.”

The Rooster 101.5 will continue to provide coverage of Coffee County football in the postseason beginning Friday when the Red Raiders travel to Murfreesboro to battle Riverdale in the first round of the 6A playoffs. Knott who’s called Coffee County sports for 26 years and is a 40-year broadcasting veteran will be joined by Mike Ray on the broadcast. “It’s been an exciting year for the Red Raiders,” said Knott. “Coffee County’s pulled a few upsets off this season, lets see if they have another up their sleave Friday!”

Pregame Coverage on both stations begins with Tri Star Sports Friday Night Live Countdown at 6:00. J.P. Plant, TSWA Hall of Famer Mo Patton and Chris Yow of Main Street Media will preview all the postseason matchups across the state.. Kickoff of both games follows at 7:00. Afterwards fans are invited to stay tuned for Tri Star Sports Friday Night Live as Plant. is joined by The Guru Murphy Fair to recap all the action from the opening night of the playoffs.

Will is a Middle Tennessee native having been born and raised in Winchester. His love of radio began as a child listening to local stations on the way to school or while falling asleep at night. After High School, where he was active in student media, he attended the University of Tennessee majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media while covering sports for the campus radio station. He then moved into the business professionally as a board op/producer for Cumulus of Knoxville and the Vol Network. His radio journey then took him to Louisiana where he was the lead producer for ESPN New Orleans. After returning home to Winchester, he spent several years broadcasting local sports for stations in Franklin County before joining the Bowman Family. When he’s not at the station, Will enjoys spending time with his wife Shaina and his two fur babies (Toulouse and Belle), cheering on the Vols, Preds and Saints and in the kitchen or behind the grill trying out new recipes.
