A high-speed pursuit began earlier this week near the Decherd Kroger. Decherd officers pursued the vehicle and received help from Tullahoma Police before the pursuit ended at Northgate Mall in Tullahoma. Two men left the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot before being captured a short time later.
Jarquias Jimar of Nashville, and Wilbur Eugene Shue of Dunlap were arrested.
Both were charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, speeding, reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest, reckless driving, stop-frisk-and-halt violation, failure to obey traffic control device, unlawful carry or possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime. Greer was also charged with simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and introduction of contraband into the Franklin County Jail.
Both men bonded out of jail and are set to appear in court in July.
