Holder’s One-Hitter leads Raider Baseball to Win over Shelbyville

Coffee County got an outstanding pitching performance from Jacob Holder on Wednesday night at Powers Field. The junior right-hander threw a one-hitter against Shelbyville in the Raiders 8-0 win. Holder who was named the Sir Pizza Player of the Game struck out 9 Golden Eagle batters.

Andrew Dawson was 2-for-2, scored a run and had an RBI. Cole Pippenger added 2 hits and two stolen bases. Coffee County swiped 8 bases to bring their team total to 82 on the season.

For Shelbyville, Kyler Trice had the only Golden Eagle hit in the game.

The Raiders at 7-4 in District 6-4A play are only a half-game behind Franklin County as the Rebels finished district play at 8-4 with a win over Warren County on Wednesday.
