The Tullahoma Fire Department responded to a home in Hunters Ridge on Saturday afternoon after it was struck by lightning during the storm. Smoke was showing from the roof when firefighters arrived. The firemen removed 2 occupants from the home.
The fire was traveling across the peak of the roof on the inside of the home. The house suffered minor fire and water damage.
Manchester Fire and Rescue ran backup for Tullahoma while firefighting took place.
