Manchester Police, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, medical examiners and Tullahoma Police are working together after a human skull was located by officers.
Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott says a human skull was found in Coffee County on Wednesday afternoon around 5 p.m.
Manchester officers found the skull while searching for a suspect in a traffic incident case.
The state medical examiners and anthropology team will be at the location on Thursday.
Northcott did not want to give the location where the skull was found at this time.
