Lady Cats Win and the Wildcats are Upset by Shelbyville

On Monday night the Tullahoma Wildcats and Lady Cats split against the Eagles and Eaglettes of Shelbyville on the road.

The Tullahoma Lady Cats girls team slipped by the Eaglettes of Shelbyville 33-29.

During the first quarter of play the Lady cats outscored the Eaglettes 11-8. The Lady Cats held the lead in the second quarter going into the locker room on top over the Eaglettes 16-10. Out of the half the Tullahoma Lady Cats stayed strong holding onto the lead 22-17 over the Shelbyville Eaglettes. The Lady Cats and the Eaglettes battled hard in the fourth quarter but Tullahoma powered through to secure the win 33-29 over Shelbyville. The Lady Cats now move to 15-7 on the season and 9-2 in District 8-AAA play

The Tullahoma Wildcats Boys squad were upset by the Eagles of Shelbyville 73-60.

In the first quarter of play the Tullahoma Wildcats trailed the Eagles of Shelbyville 15-8. The Eagles held onto the lead during the second period going into the locker room 32-21 over the Wildcats. The Wildcats went into the second half to battle for the lead but still trailed the Eagles 55-36 at the end of the third. Entering the fourth period the Wildcats rallied together to pull out the win but fell short to the Eagles at the end of regulation play 73-60. The Wildcats now fall to 10-8 on the season and 6-5 in District 8-AAA.

The Tullahoma Wildcats and Lady cats will conclude their season at home this Thursday against the Raiders and Lady Raiders of Coffee County for Homecoming with tip-off set for 6pm. You can hear the game live by tuning into 101.5 the Rooster 101.5 the app.
