The Coffee County Lady Raiders opened play in the Gulf Shores, AL tournament on Monday afternoon against Kaneland High School, Illinois.
Things looked good in the first inning when Paisley Campbell hit a solo homer, her second of the season. She had two hits in the game.
In game two of three, Coffee County took on the Southside Lady Panthers from Gadsden, AL.
After Southside got a home run in the first inning, the Lady Raiders could not off the Lady Panthers as they fell 10-4 on Monday afternoon.
Channah Gannon, Chesnie Cox, Anderson, Savannah Cooper, and Willow Carden all had one hit to lead Coffee County.
The Lady Raiders defeated Hoover Bucs 7-6 in their third game on Monday. Paisley Campbell was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and Ella Arnold came home with the winning run in the time-limit game.
Kaitlyn Davis took the win for Coffee County, striking out three, and she didn’t walk a batter.
The Lady Raiders collected ten hits on the day, with Madison Pruitt, Willow Carden, and Chesnie Cox getting two hits each. Paisley Campbell had 4 RBI.
Coffee County continues to play in Gulf Shores on Tuesday as they take on Houston Academy,
