On Wednesday night at Terry Floyd Field Coffee County softball hosted the Nashville Knights, a group of homeschool athletes.
Knight Pitcher Annalise Wood struck out 19 and threw a no-hitter on her way to a 7-0 win.
The Lady Raiders played mostly JV players as Coach Brandon McWhorter rested players in preparation for Thursday night’s game at Lincoln County. Currently the Lady Raiders are in first place in the district with the Lady Falcons just one game back.
Centerfield and birthday girl Madison Pruitt made two outstanding defensive plays and was named the Crazy Daisies Player of the Game.
