Lady Raiders get 20th Win at Franklin County

The Coffee County Lady Raiders got off to a slow start on Tuesday night at Franklin County. The Rebeletts took an early 5-0 lead, but after Lady Raider Head Coach Joe Pat Cope called a timeout the ladies went to work.

Coffee County grabbed a 53-14 advantage at the half allowing the Lady Raiders to freely sub the rest of the game as every player got several minutes of playing time.

The mercy-rule was enforced heading into the 4th quarter with Coffee County leading Franklin County 74-16. The quick moving final quarter ended with a Lady Raider 79-19 win, improving their record to 20-1 overall and 8-0 in District 8-AAA play.

Chole Gannon led Coffee County in scoring with 22 followed by Bella Vinson with 19, Crazy Daisies Player of the Game Alivia Reel with 14 and Jalie Ruehling finished with 10.

The games at home against Shelbyville on Friday night has been postponed because of Covid-19 at Shelbyville. The boys are set to be play. You can hear the Red Raiders take on the Golden Eagles on Friday night on Rooster 101.5, rooster1015.com or the Rooster 101.5 app.
