Lady Raiders get past Shelbyville in Volleyball

Volleyball district action was held on Thursday night between Coffee County and Shelbyville. The Lady Raiders got past the Golden Eagles 3 sets to 1: 25-20, 19-25, 25-19 and 25-19.

Coffee County controlled most of the match on Shelbyville’s home floor. Anna Johnson had 8 kills and Camry Moss, Gia Perez and Kurry Neel had 7 each. Madison Pruitt had 21 assists for the Lady Raiders.

Coffee County improved to 6-5 overall and 5-1 in district play. The Lady Raiders are playing in a tournament in Knoxville this weekend.
