It was a 4 hour trip to the banks of the Mississippi River and nearby Reelfoot Lake, but worth it for the Coffee County Lady Raiders on Saturday.

The ladies, after winning on Friday night got up early Saturday morning for a trip to Tiptonville in the northwest corner of the state to take on Lake County.

Crazy Daisies Player of the Game, Bella Vinson outscored the Lady Falcons as she hit for 26 points. The final was Coffee County 69, Lake County 20.

In a game that lasted only 54 minutes also saw Chole Gannon score 16 and Jalie Ruehling hit for 14. All 7 players that traveled scored in the game for Coffee County: Elizabeth Brown 6, Eli Chumley 3, and 2 each for Alivia Reel and Emma Fulks.

The Lady Raiders are now 19-1 overall and will travel to Franklin County for a girls’ only game on Tuesday at 6 p.m. As we reported Franklin County boy’s coach Mike Holt was diagnosed with Covid-19 so the boy’s game has been postponed.

You can hear the game on Rooster 101.5, rooster1015.com or the Rooster app.
