Kaitlyn Davis had a HUGE night for the Coffee County Lady Raiders on Monday night against Smyrna. She had 3 hits, scored a run and knocked in 5 runs. One of her hits was grand slam homer in the third inning.
Davis’ big night helped to lead the Lady Raiders to an 11-1 run-rule 5 inning win over the Lady Bulldogs. Senior Eliza Carden delivered the game ending hit with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 5th to give Coffee County the win.
The Lady Raiders had 14 hits on the night with Kiya Ferrell having 4 hit night, Davis’ 3 and Olivia Evans adding 2.
Keri Munn pitched the complete game, allowing one unearned run, four hits and she struck out eight.
Davis was named the Crazy Daisies Player of the Game.
Coffee County will host the Siegel Stars on Wednesday night at 7pm for the Region 4-AAA championship. You can hear the action on The Rooster 101.5 FM.
