On Sunday the Lady Vols decimated the Tigers of Auburn 88-54 at home on Senior Day.
The Lady Vols came out strong against the Tigers ending the first quarter 17-8 over Auburn. In the second quarter of play, Auburn started to gain momentum, but the Lady Vols kept battling hard to outscore the Tigers 14-13. The Lady Vols went into the locker room at halftime with the lead over Auburn 31-21. Out of halftime the Lady Vols continued to dominate by increasing the lead over the Tigers ending the third quarter 25-16. The Tigers stayed strong and fought hard, but Lady Vols showed no mercy as they ended the ball game on top to secure the win for Tennessee. Rennia Davis lead the way for the Lady Vols posting 23 points for Tennessee. Kasiyahna Kushkituah scored 19 points for the Lady Vols. Rae Burrell notched 14 points on the night to help take home the W for Tennessee.
