Large Increase in COVID-19 Cases in Tennessee on June 2, 2020

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. The health department reported 821 new cases, bringing the state to a total of 24,375 cases, a 3% day-to-day increase since Monday.

TDH confirmed 14 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 381 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 15,916 have recovered, which increases the total amount of active cases in Tennessee to 8,078.

*Bedford County: 4 died; 295 confirmed cases; 241 recovered; 2,481 negative tests

*Coffee County: 0 died: 73 confirmed cases; 55 recovered; 2,366 negative tests

*Franklin County: 1 died; 54 confirmed; 41 recovered; 2,177 negative tests

*Grundy County: 1 died; 31 confirmed; 27 recovered; 496 negative tests

*Lincoln County: 0 died; 28 confirmed; 21 recovered; 1,311 negative tests

*Moore County: 0 died; 4 confirmed; 3 recovered; 362 negative tests

*Rutherford County: 27 died; 1,278 confirmed; 532 recovered; 12,060 negative tests

*Warren County: 0 died; 26 confirmed; 16 recovered; 1,760 negative tests
