Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands will be offering a free legal help clinic on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Gruetli-Laager Recreation Park pavilion in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. People who want to meet with a lawyer should come anytime from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Masks are required, and clients should bring any paperwork that they would like an attorney to look over.
Attorneys at the clinic will assist with a variety of civil legal issues related to:
● Conservatorships
● Wills/estates
● Homeownership
● Living wills
● Family problems
● Landlord/tenant problems
● Debt problems
● Car purchases
● Wage claims
● Public benefits (such as TennCare, SNAP and Families First)
● Repair problems
The Grundy County Legal Help Clinic is supported by the Office of Civic Engagement of the University of the South, the law firm Burr & Foreman LLP, and local lawyers.
