Longtime Huntland Football Coach Steps Down after 26 years

In our radio coverage area, the man with the most years as a head football coach at one school is Bob Robertson at Huntland. On Monday Robertson announced he was stepping down after 26 years. 

Robertson became the Hornets head coach in 1997 after serving as an assistant from 1989 until taking the lead position.

Robertson is not leaving Huntland as he will remain the school’s athletic director.
