Lynchburg’s Only Grocery Store Opens after Temporarily Closing because of Positive Covid-19 Case

After an employee tested positive for Covid-19 Woodard’s Market and Deli, the only grocery store in Lynchburg had to be closed.

The store owner was notified by an employee they had been diagnosed with Coronavirus. The store then closed its doors until a company from Nashville was hired to clean and sanitize the building.

The employee does not live in Moore County.

The store has reopened and asking customers to stay six feet apart, when appropriate employees wear masks and gloves, and surfaces are wiped down multiple times each day.
