Rafael Mendoza, 43, a resident of Davis Estates Apartments in Shelbyville was shot and killed this past Friday. Shelbyville Police say the shooting took place at the complex around 10:30 Friday night.
Mendoza was shot multiple times and his wounds were to the “body and head.”
Witnesses told police two men fled on foot after the shots were fired. One appeared to be a white male with a handkerchief over his face, Jacobs said. The witnesses were unable to get a better description due to darkness.
No arrests have been, and Shelbyville Police is asking that anyone with information pertaining to this case to call them at (931) 684-5811.
