Manchester Police Completes 35-Mile Breast Cancer Challenge for Nikki

The Manchester Police Department recently participated in the “Tennessee 35-mile breast cancer challenge.

Ten officers covered the distance from city hall to New Union Elementary. 3.5 miles x 10 officers, to cover the 35 miles.

The department chose New Union Elementary for teacher Nikki Alonso, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

She is the wife of Toby Alonso, a veteran law enforcement officer, who now teaches Criminal Justice at Coffee County High School. Nikki is the daughter Steve and Gwen Graves. Steve spent over 30 years in law enforcement, including 20 years as Coffee County Sheriff.
