Moore Co. Middle School Raiders’ Boy’s Basketball to play in TMSAA Semi-Finals

The Moore County Middle School Raiders boy’s basketball team has been competing in TMSAA Class A state tournament. In the sectional quarterfinals, Moore County defeated Collinwood, 49-33. In the sectional semifinals, the Raiders squeezed by South Lawrence Middle, 62-60. In the sectional finals, the Moore County Middle School boys continued their winning ways as they knocked off Smith Co. Middle, 53-41. Now the Raiders will have a shot a state championship as they’ll play in the semi-finals on Friday night, Feb 14 at Stewarts Creek Middle at 7:15pm against the winner of Harriman Middle and Oneida Middle. Those two teams play Monday night.
The 3rd place game will be at 2:30pm on Saturday the 15th at Stewarts Creek Middle School. The championship game will also be played on Saturday at 2:30pm at Stewarts Creek High School.
