Area law enforcement officers are searching for a 2011 to 2012 Honda Accord with the front grill knocked out and the radiator leaking severely.
The vehicle in question hit a motorcycle on Interstate 24 and left the rider on the side of the roadway.
The incident took place Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. eastbound near mile-marker 109. The vehicle in question left the roadway at Exit 110.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
