Munn and Davis Lead Lady Raiders to District Championship

Keri Munn had all the right stuff on Wednesday night at Lincoln County. The Coffee County Lady Raiders’ senior allowed no runs in the District 8-AAA championship game. Munn and her teammates run-ruled the Lincoln County Lady Falcons 14-0.

Coffee County secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the first inning. Chesnie Cox, Kaitlyn Davis, Emily Schuster, Haidyn Campbell, Olivia Evans, and Kiya Ferrell all drove in runs in the frame.

Davis went yard in the first inning for the Lady Raiders. She was named the Crazy Daisies Player of the Game.

Coffee County racked up 16 hits on the night. Davis, Campbell, and Ferrell all had multiple hits for Coffee County. Davis went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lady Raiders in hits.

Coffee County will host a Region 4-AAA semifinal game at 7pm Monday night at Terry Floyd Field.
