The Manchester Youth Baseball Association began its post-season tournament on Tuesday, as teams vie for the divisional championships on Monday, July 27. Results from last night’s first rounds are:
8U: Lions Club 31, Interstate Auto 27 (extra innings).
10U: Chico’s Bail Bonds 9, Coffee County Bank 6. Coffee County Bank eliminated, Chico’s to play State Farm on Thursday.
12U: First Vision Bank 6, Bush Insurance 5; and Shelter Insurance 7, Peoples Bank 6. First Vision faces Powers Storage on Thursday, while Shelter next plays Clower Automotive Thursday.
18U: Expos 3, Christiana Braves 2 (extra innings).
