The Manchester Youth Baseball League finished its first week of play for summer 2020 with good attendance figures and lots of baseball action. The standings after one week look like this (unofficially):
6U Division
Manchester Tire and Brake in first, followed by Cooper Sports, Star Physical Therapy, and Lovelady Auto Parts.
8U Division
Dr. J is tied with Freedom Automotive for first place, then come Interstate Auto, KK’s, and Lions Club.
10U Division
State Farm holds down first place, Viam, First National Bank, and Chico’s Bail Bonds are all tied for second, while Coffee County Bank is still seeking win number 1.
12U Diivision
Clower Automotive and Powers Storage are locked together in first place, Bush Insurance and Shelter Insurance are tied for second, while People’s Bank and First Vision Bank are winless so far.
18U Division
The Yankees are undefeated and in first place, followed by Christiana Braves, Mets, Expos, and Manchester Braves.
8 games in 4 divisions are scheduled for Monday night, June 15, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
