Coffee County Central High School announced on Wednesday that Megan Blumhoefer has been named as the new CHS Lady Raider soccer coach.
In the press release it stated that Blumhoefer had a great knowledge of the game. She played two years at Motlow State Community College, serving as captain during in her second season. She has been serving an assistant coach at Westwood Middle School for the past two years.
CHS co-athletic director Brandon McWhorter said, “We are very excited to have coach Blumhoefer join our athletic staff.” “She’s very passionate about the game of soccer and she is excited about the opportunity to take our soccer program to the next level. We welcome her and her family to the Raider family and look forward to the beginning of a new era in our women’s soccer program.”
CCCHS administration decided in October to go in a different direction with respect to leadership of our girls’ soccer program. Blumhoefer takes over for Lee Xixis.
