Attorneys C. Brent Keeton and Greg B. Perry

The law firm of Keeton & Perry in Manchester has been hired by the Public Building Authority (PBA) to represent them in legal issues at the Manchester/Coffee County Conference Center.
According to a Manchester Times report, County commissioners have worried about potential conflicts of interest with Attorney Bob Huskey representing the county and the PBA, which owns and operates the center.
Keeton & Perry will begin work quickly since it has been discovered that the new outdoor venue at the center was partially built on property owned by a private individual, Wayne Lance.
During a recent meeting, General Manager Rebecca French said that Lance agreed to the development, but there is no document to prove that agreement.
PBA members say they will work with Keeton & Perry to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
