SUMMITVILLE – Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde Crouch, age 83, of Summitville, TN, will be conducted on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 2:00pm.
The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Crouch died Monday, July 13, 2020, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN from an extended illness.
He was born December 25, 1936, in Summitville, TN, was a member of the Summitville Church of Christ. Owner, operator, and mechanic of Red’s Garage for over 50 years. After retiring Red’s Garage, he was employed as a Mechanic at Mid-TN Turf for 14 years.
Mr. Crouch was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Frieda Crouch; parents, Jesse and Erma Crouch; brothers, Leighton Crouch and Charles Crouch; sister, Dorothy Taylor and sister-in-law, Dorothy Crouch; brother-in-law , Glendal Crouch, James Lowry, Jr. and Bobby Stone; nephew, James (Jimmy) Lowry, III and daughter-in-law, April Crouch.
Survivors include children, Keith (Jennifer) Crouch and Kelle (Jeff ) Cantrell; grandchildren, Erin(Daniel) Castillo, Morgan Dyer (Jay Grissom) and Jayme Dyer; great-grandchildren, Emory, Alex, and Jaxson Castillo, Jonah and Josie Grissom, and Augustus “Carter” Morgan; sisters, Audrey Stone, Vivian Crouch, and Jenny (Shelton) Jones; brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Crouch; sister-in-law Judy Lowry and Sandy Carr (Lars Robinette) and other nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to: St Jude’s Children Research Hospital or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
