A report of a disturbance at a home led to a police pursuit on Sunday night around 6:30 pm in Manchester. The person who called in the disturbance gave a description of the man and his vehicle.
Manchester Police Department officer Antonio Frost saw the vehicle on Hills Chapel Road and the officer attempted to stop the car. The male driver turned into the Indian Springs subdivision with Frost still attempting to stop the car.
The suspect got back onto Hills Chapel Rd, then turned onto Fox Creek Court and drove between houses, striking a fence and drove through another. Manchester Police located the suspect’s car in a ditch near Trinity Baptist Church, but the man had left the scene on foot. Officers located the man identified as Kyle Anthony Campbell, 33, of Ohio, outside a home on East End Rd.
Manchester Police arrested Campbell on 7 charges, and he was booked in at Coffee County Jail. He was able to make bond and was released.
The Ohio man is set to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court at a later date. The charges against Campbell are for evading arrest, reckless endangerment, resisting stop halt frisk, vandalism, aggravated assault, driving under the influence, and public indecency.
