On “Senior Night” the Coffee County Central Lady Raider softball team blasted their way past Lawrence County 10-3 on Wednesday night at Terry Floyd Field.
The Lady Raiders got things started in the second inning when Senior Justus Turner hit a solo homer.
Kaitlyn Davis smashed her 10th homerun of the season in the third inning. Davis now holds the single season record for homers in one season with multiple games to go. Davis and Olivia Evans had two hits each to lead Coffee County.
Senior Keri Munn pitched 7 strong innings for the Lady Raiders. The righty went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out 11. Coffee County moved to 24-4-1 overall and finished unbeaten in their final year of District 8-AAA before moving up to Class AAAA next season.
