“Out of the Darkness” walk to be held in Manchester

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will host a special walk in Manchester called “Out of the Darkness.”

“Out of the Darkness” is a national movement that has been around since 2004, holding hundreds of community walks across the country. These events help to create a platform where people can feel comfortable about opening up about their mental health.

The Coffee County walk will take place on September 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rotary Park in Manchester. Registration is free and open to anyone wishing to attend.

Registration is free and open to the public. Register at AFSP Out of the Darkness Community. Donations are accepted until December 31st. So far over $17,000 has been raised.

For more information, please contact Deidra Goins at 931-273-5763.
