Vanderbilt pitchers Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker were selected in the top 10 of the first round of the Major League Baseball Draft Sunday Night in Denver Colorado.
Leiter went second overall to the Texas Rangers while Rocker somewhat unexpectedly dropped to the New York Mets at tenth.
Tennessee baseball signee Brady House, a shortstop out of Winder-Barrow High School in Winder, Ga was selected by the Washington Nationals with the eleventh overall pick. House is expected to sign with the Nats rather than play collegiately for the Vols.
The MLB draft continues Monday with rounds two through ten.
