A POPULAR furniture retailer with locations across 40 states has filed for bankruptcy as part of its parent company's restructuring. All American Freight locations will be closed, including Winchester, and liquidation sales will start this week. Franchise Group, also known as FRG, owns and operates popular brands such as Pet Supplies Plus, The Vitamin Shoppe, Buddy's Home Furnishings, and American Freight. On Sunday, the company announced its plan to restructure via a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
