Bedford County Schools to Conduct Emergency Preparedness Drill

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Bedford County Schools will conduct a full-scale emergency preparedness drill on Friday, March 7, 2025, in partnership with local law enforcement, first responders, and Homeland Security. The drill will take place on a scheduled staff development day, so no students will be present. The district is emphasizing that this is only a drill and the public should not be alarmed by any increased emergency personnel or activity near schools.
