On August 15, 2024, the Bedford County Criminal Investigations Division arrested 35 year-old Corey Wayne Proctor on three counts of rape, two counts of incest, one count of interference with an emergency call, and one count of aggravated sexual battery. This is still an ongoing investigation. The Bedford County Sheriff's Department will release more information when deemed necessary.
