Bedford County Sheriff's Office Investigates Potential Threat at Shelbyville Central High School, Deems It Not Credible

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says they are aware of a social media post regarding a possible threat at Shelbyville Central High School during their upcoming pep rally. In a statement posted on Facebook, the department says that detectives, school resource officers, and staff of the Bedford County School System have been investigating the threat. The statement goes on to say at this time, they do not feel that the threat is credible.  There will also be extra deputies on campus at Central High School on Friday.
