Bedford County Utility District will receive a $3.1 million grant for water infrastructure improvements at the 231 North Business Park to support business expansion. This U.S. government investment will be matched with $780,000 in local funds. Bedford County government is a co-developer of the industrial park, and it has worked closely with the utility district over the years to assist in grant applications that have to be in the name of a municipality.
