Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, a Boston-based asset liquidation company aiding Big Lots through the process, submitted a court filing Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Big Lots ranked as the fourth-largest home goods retailer in the U.S. when it filed for bankruptcy in September 2024, operating 1,392 stores at the start of the year. According to its website, the company now has 872 locations nationwide.
