Tullahoma Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to host a free car seat check event aimed at ensuring the safety of child passengers. Certified technicians will be available at the D.W. Wilson Community Center, located at 501 N Collins St in Tullahoma, on Friday, April 18th, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

The event will provide parents and caregivers with the opportunity to have their child's car seats inspected by trained professionals. Technicians will offer guidance on proper car seat installation and usage, ensuring that children are riding safely according to their age, weight, and height.

The event is free and open to the public. No appointment is necessary. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their child's car seat and vehicle owner's manual for the inspection.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Tullahoma Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to promote traffic safety and reduce the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Properly installed and used car seats are crucial for protecting children.
