Channah Gannon Drops 21 as Lady Raiders Top Franklin County on the Road

Channah Gannon tallied 21 points, and Ella Arnold added two three-pointers of her own as Coffee County beat Franklin County, 55-41, in a Friday night showdown in Winchester, TN.


The game tipped off with Coffee County setting the tone early, closing out the first quarter with a narrow 11-8 lead. But Franklin County wasn’t backing down. The Rebelettes found their rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring the Lady Raiders 15-12 to tie the game 23-23 at halftime.


After the break, it was a back-and-forth battle, with Coffee County holding their ground to edge ahead 37-35 by the end of the third. Then came the fourth quarter—when the Lady Raiders put their foot on the gas. Dominating both ends of the floor in the final moments, Coffee County slammed the door on any Rebelette comeback hopes and secured the 55-41 win.


Channah Gannon was a force to be reckoned with, leading the Lady Raiders with an impressive 21 points. Olivia Vinson stepped up in critical moments, adding 14 points of her own. Ella Arnold shined beyond the arc, draining two three-pointers to tally six points and earning Dr. James Van Winkle Player of the Game. Coffee County will return to action on Friday, Dec. 30, as they host Mountain Brook, with the girl's game tip-off at 2 P.M.
