In a press release from Chris Stanford, District Attorney General, 31st Judicial District:
Friday, March 14, 2025, deputies with the Warren County Sherriff’s Department were dispatched to a location on Holcomb Road, in Warren County, to a reported homicide.
The caller reported to dispatch that Nina Jean Judkins, DOB 4/25/1979, and David Zeb Alexander, DOB 9/21/1970, (also known as “Day-Day”) confessed to the caller that Judkins and Alexander had killed Bruce Allen Morton, DOB 12/23/1968. The caller indicated that following the murder, Judkins and Alexander admitted to moving the deceased body of Bruce Morton and hid his body under a mattress.
Upon arriving at the Holcomb Road address, deputies located a camper on the property that belonged to Bruce Morton. Deputies located Mr. Morton and determined that he was deceased.
Nina Judkins gave a full confession implicating herself and David Alexander in the homicide on Mr. Morton.
Nina Judkins and David Alexander are Currently being held at the Warren County Jail, with each defendant’s bail being set at $1,600,000. Both defendants have been charged with Criminal Homicide and Abuse of a Corpse.
