Coffee County held its Senior Night celebration just before clinching a playoff berth after a 19-14 victory over Blackman on Friday at Carden Jarrell Field. The region matchup featured another phenomenal performance defensively, and the Red Raiders (5-5, 2-3) came out powerful offensively in the last game of the regular season. The Red Raiders now finish regional play 2-3.
Offensively for Coffee County, Jayden Carter finished with an outstanding 57 rushing yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns. Deontae Short added 44 yards on just 12 carries on critical drives. Austin Green was named the Giles Dunn Diamond Company Player of the Game after taking an interception 50 yards and served as the catalyst that guided the Red Raiders to a Senior Night win.
