Coffee County Sheriff's Department Warns Residents of Nighttime Gunfire During Training Exercises

Residents near the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department firing range are being advised they may hear gunfire tonight (Tuesday, Oct.22) and Thursday. The department says residents in the Powell Drive, Deford Lane, Harvest Drive, Ez Lane, and Joe Hickerson Road area may hear night fire training between the hours of 6 pm and 9 pm. The department says they wanted to make residents aware so as not to alarm them if they hear gunshots.
