Coffee County Sheriff Says Small Riot Happened at Jail

Monday, April 14, 2025, Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin announced that there was a riot at the jail and released the following statement:

“This afternoon we had 7 inmates cause a small riot. It was our B unit. We had to use many tools in the toolbox including the fire department. We are currently cleaning up and finding out why they caused this issue. No one is hurt other than snotty nose and wet. I will provide you who was involved and more details hopefully tomorrow. These guys have charges from felony theft to Murder.”
