Governor Bill Lee and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Commissioner David Salyers announced a $15 million loan for Fayetteville to enhance water infrastructure. The loan, part of the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan Program, will fund waterline replacements to improve pressure and reduce water loss. It has a 20-year term at 1.87% interest. Since 1987, Tennessee’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program has awarded over $2 billion in low-interest loans, while the Drinking Water Program has provided more than $300 million since its 1996 inception.
